There are 81 reasons to fall in love with Türkiye and number 65 is Van!

Not only does it have Turkey’s largest lake, the Van region has plenty of amazing sights that are still quite unknown to most foreign visitors. From historic castles to natural waterfalls and an interesting history - Van definitely surprised me a lot!

This Turkish city doesn’t only serve the best breakfast, but they also have one of the cutest furr friends around!

The Van Cats

I was curious to learn more and so I went and visit Van Cat House which, as it turned out, is more of a small research facility by Van University than a house and they are trying to breed the rare 2-colored-eyes Van Cat species here.

Within Van Cat House, you can spend some time and play around with these magnificent 2-colored-eyes cats and you can learn a little bit more about the features of Van cats from the staff there.
